HEIC is an opportunity for high school students to create and present technology oriented projects in this conference. Each year, six high school student's will be selected based on the creativity, technological excellence, and impact of their project.
Even if you are not participating, you can still attend, and watch these exceptional students through zoom.
I learned a lot from participating and thankfully winning the HEIC conference/competition. Me and my team built an machine learning application using Arduino and Python. It was a great experience interacting with other programmers and receiving advice from experts in the field.
My experience at HEIC was amazing. I had a great time developing a facial recognition project that tracks aging. I loved watching the conference, it was so fun to hear about so many amazing projects. But the best part was their announcement when they said I was going too. I learned so much from presenting and participating in the conference. HEIC is an amazing program for young and ambitious students.
Covid-19 has had a big impact on all of us. To help out participants and staff we have made this conference virtual to help stop the spread of Covid-19. Stay safe!
